Taxiway and apron are in fairly good state, occassionally some sand and small stones. Takeoff from RWY34 is practically impossible because of trees very close to end of the RWY.
Overview: Former agricultural airfield: now a "city airfield". Located just 2 km NE of Valmiera city center, it is surrounded by obstacles, what makes it difficult to approach, considering the requirement to maintain safe height over populated areas. The airfield itself is in a good state, runway surface is good, taxiway and aprons are usable. Airfield is sometimes used by GA traffic.
